Hamlet Performances

Last week was performance week for Hamlet. Over all it went really well, there were some missed lines every once in a while though. We've gotten really great audiences every showing, even on the Saturday matinee performance.So it was a great week. Though I have to catch up on homework I neglected to do...

PS I may not do a play for a long time cause my mom told me if I don't pass all my classes I won't be allowed to audition for any plays till the end of this semester. Then after january my dad is having his second wedding... which I truthfully don't care about :/

Hamlet Worries

Next Wednesday is opening night for Hamlet. A few things are going wrong this week. Several people have lost their voices, I keep mumbling my words, and many other things. I am really worried about how Hamlet will go.

On side note something funny happened at rehearsal yesterday. The guy who plays Sir sat down in a chair and it collapsed under him. It was hilarious! He is fine... but the chair isn't.

Sleepy Hollows Audition Results/Improv

I recently got the results of my audition. I got an alternate spot which basically means I didn't get in. I am very disappointed. Well At least I have Hamlet to keep me busy till it ends. 

Oh and side note. I am going to start going to an improv troop next month. I'm excited for that.

Sorry For Not Posting

Sorry for not posting anything in a while my few viewers. I would like to say what I have been up to. I got into Into The Woods. I got the Mysterious Man (my second favorite character). I liked it except I hated the guy who got to play the Baker. He was annoying, not that good of an actor, and could not take directions from the director. My sister, who got The Baker's Wife, also hated him. Anyways that ended about a month ago and hopefully I don't ever have to work with him again...
Recently I got into Hamlet at AYT. I got the grave digger. Rehershals have been going very well. I've memorized all my lines and there's not one person I hate.

I also just had an audition today for The Legends Of Sleepy Hollow at AYT. I think I did very very well. I'll find out tomorrow.

So that's what I've been up to lately.

Audition for Into The Woods Jr

I have an audition I am excited for tonight... it's for Into The Woods... Jr.... Into the Woods is one of my favorite musicals... I am kinda sad it's only jr :/ cause the Jr. Show is only the first act, which is good but makes Into The Woods seem like a normal old fairy tale just with a mixture of fairy tales, Well anyways I am still excited.

Act 1

So far all my parts in act 1 for Hunchback of Notre Dame have been blocked. So far my favorite scene is when I get to foot torture Esmerelda :3...
I am worried that I am having to much fun being a torturer XD

First Rehersal

Had my first rehersal yesterday for Hunchback of Notre Dame. We did a read through of the scrpit. Even though I'm only a torturer I get a good bit of lines. I've also developed a backstory for my character and characteristics for him. I get to whip Quasemodo and I also get to torture Esmerolda and I get to exicute her, well i'm about to exicute her

Preview of story

Another non Acting post, don't worry there will be acting posts soon. I'm not just an actor, I do some writing and i'm writing a story atm that I will be posting peridodically on my Deviantart. It's about a war between monsters and Humans. I know not very original. It will have all the clasical Monsters, mytrhical creatures, and a type of monster I made up called Dengles. Well I have written a small preveiw for the story. Here it is:

 I woke up in a strange hut. I tried lifting my head but pain greeted me and I layed back down. I tried to gather my thoughts. Questions filled my head. Where was I? What happened to me? And one question that scared me. Who am I?

From what I could feel I was laying down on a soft bed and was wearing cloth clothes. I soon heard a door open to my left. I tried To lift my head, once again visited by pain, but instead of me going back down myself I felt soft hands push me down softly. A heavenly sweet voice was heard "Don't sit up yet"

The owner of the voice Leaned over me. My vision was blury but I could make out red long hair. She had a cup in her hand "Open your mouth please"

I figured the cup had medicine in it so I oepned my mouth and the owner of the voice poured a purple liguid in my mouth and I soon blacked out

The other day I auditioned for Hunchback of Notre Dame through AYT (Actors Youth Theater) I was hoping to get the part of the antagonist, but I didn't. I got in. I'm a torturer/exacutioner.

I'm so excited for my next audition! Which is for Hunchback of Notredom. It's through AYT (Actors Youth Theater). It's in a few days.
